BLOG

Spring time is the perfect season for any makeup lover. We get to leave the house without the stress of our makeup being sweated or rained off, for once. I thought, to kick off the sunshine months, I’d tell you guys what my go-to beauty essentials are! These products I use near enough daily (well, every time I wear makeup anyway). I couldn’t find the exact product online for a few of these but I attached links to where I got them from anyway. I buy all my products in store so you may find them local to you!

Barry M Body Glitter (£4.59)

BLOG 1

I use this on my eyes as a highlight, fixing it in the inner corners with Barry M Glitter Glue & Primer (£4.99). I can never get the inner corners as pigmented as I like when I use eyeshadow, which is why the glitter is a great alternative. It comes in so many different colours, so you can match the colour of the glitter to any look!

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder (£2.55)

BLOG 2

This highlighter is hands down the best I have ever used and for less than £3, it’s a bargain! I have this in both the Pearlescent (pictured above) and Peach Diamond shade – however, I prefer the peach as I tend to wear quite a warm face. If you’re looking for intense glow on a budget, this is my top recommendation.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip (£5.99)

BLOG 3

The Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip collection is definitely my favourite out of all the lipstick collections I own. I’m one of those unlucky people who love matte but suffer from dry lips. Luckily, these don’t dry out and last forever. I’ve even gone to sleep wearing these (don’t judge) and woken up with them still perfectly intact.

Urban Decay Naked 3 (£39.50)

BLOG 4

This is definitely one of the pricier items in my makeup collection but, I promise you, it’s so worth it. Anyone who’s followed me on twitter long enough will know how awful I am at eye looks – well, this palette saved me. It’s not too pigmented, easy to build up and super blendable. I’m still a newbie in terms of eyeshadow, so I only use about 3 or 4 of the shades for a quite natural/subtle smoky look but it will probably work just as well if you’re looking to create drama.

I could easily have included so many more products in this post but I’ve got to save something for this weeks vlog! What are your essential makeup items? Let me know in the comment thread below,

  1. Your photography skills are amazing I really liked all the pictures you included in this post! I’m exactly the same as you when it comes to lip products, I love a matte lip but have really bad dry lips all the time but I also love those Rimmel liquid lipsticks I picked up one of their new shades today and can’t wait to try it at the weekend! The colours in that Naked palette are gorgeous too but if I buy any more eyeshadow palettes at the minute I think my fiancé might kill me haha!

  3. I absolutely love the Naked 3 palette — it’s actually my favorite of the Naked palettes. There’s a shade in that palette called Trick that I have hit pan on and now I’m attempting to savor it.

    Lovely list of products! x

  5. I also use the naked 3 palette for the exact same reasons, easy to blend and build and I’m also definitely new to eye looks! You’re photos for this post were absolutely stunning and I really enjoyed reading about your favourites, I loved how affordable they were and those rimel liquid lipsticks are so pretty I have to check them out!
